Born from the fertile soil of Bihar and nurtured by two extraordinary sisters — Dr. Kavita Nishchal and Priya Payal — PNK Beauty is more than a luxury skincare brand. Growing up in a small village in Bihar, Kavita and Priya’s understanding of beauty was deeply intertwined with nature and familial traditions. In their childhood, skincare wasn’t about bottles, expensive creams, or marketed luxuries. Their “Nykaa” was their grandmother and mother, whose hands and hearts carefully prepared homemade face packs, ubtan, and natural oils. Their mother often reminded them, “Jo kha nahi sakte, use chehre par laga nahi sakte” — if you cannot eat it, do not put it on your face.

Even during hostel life, when convenience might have dictated otherwise, their mother would pack tiffin boxes filled with natural powders and pastes. These simple yet powerful practices left an indelible mark on the sisters, teaching them that true beauty arises from what is pure, natural, and nourishing.

As life progressed, the sisters were exposed to the modern world’s allure of convenience and chemical-laden skincare products. Marriage brought comfort, travel, and exposure to machine-made products that promised radiant skin with minimal effort. Initially, these products felt indulgent and luxurious. Yet the glow was fleeting; irritation, dullness, and damage soon followed.

While many might have accepted these effects as inevitable, Kavita and Priya chose a different path. They returned to their roots — but this time, armed with modern scientific knowledge. They began experimenting, exchanging recipes not for food but for skincare, blending age-old remedies with contemporary formulation techniques.

International travels became a turning point. Accompanying their husbands to medical conferences abroad, the sisters observed that luxury skincare overseas worked remarkably well, yet it was often prohibitively expensive and inaccessible to the average Indian consumer. They realized a gap — an opportunity to create an Indian brand that would meet global standards, remain rooted in Indian ingredients, and be accessible to all.

In under two years, PNK Beauty has carved a niche in the competitive skincare market, building a loyal and discerning customer base. Its mission transcends skincare: more than 80% of its workforce are women, embodying the brand’s commitment to empowerment. The Cassia Cleanser draws inspiration from Kerala’s golden cassia flowers, revered in Ayurveda for their purifying properties. At the helm of PNK Beauty is Dr. Kavita Nishchal, whose vision, experience, and scientific acumen form the brand’s backbone. With a PhD in Botany, a degree in Pharmacy, and over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Kavita brings unmatched credibility to the brand. For over two decades, she has successfully managed Arsh Super Speciality Hospital while also serving as Director of Biologika Biotech Pvt. Ltd.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kavita is a woman of multifaceted passions — a painter, an artist, and a former national-level volleyball player — qualities that infuse discipline, creativity, and resilience into her leadership.

Kavita’s personal journey profoundly shaped PNK Beauty. The departure of her elder son, Arshey Nishchal, for MBBS studies at AIMS Kochi, followed by her younger son Arihant’s similar path, coincided with her own experience of perimenopause and the emotional challenges of an empty nest. Instead of letting these transitions weigh her down, she transformed them into a source of inspiration.

She poured her scientific expertise, emotional resilience, and creativity into building PNK Beauty — a brand that reflects both professional mastery and personal strength. Today, Kavita represents the modern Indian woman — deeply rooted in tradition, fearless in ambition, and committed to blending nature, science, and compassion into every creation.


Complementing her is Priya Payal, the co-founder who brings creativity, empathy, and philosophy to the brand. With an MBA in HR, training in psychology, and extensive Kathak dance experience, Priya brings a human-centered approach to PNK Beauty. Kathak nurtured grace and expression, psychology cultivated understanding and empathy, and life instilled lessons in loyalty and integrity.

At PNK Beauty, Priya ensures that the brand resonates emotionally with its consumers — embodying a voice that is authentic, relatable, and empowering. She ensures that PNK Beauty is more than just another beauty label — it is a brand with soul, speaking to women in their language, addressing their needs, and inspiring confidence.
