Amiit Deep Kumarr: The Visionary Who Believes AI Can Redefine Education

Every era has its pioneers—those who look at a problem everyone else accepts and ask, “Why not change it?” For Amiit Deep Kumarr, that problem was India’s education system, where rote learning, uneven access, and mounting student stress had become the norm. Instead of accepting it as “just the way things are,” Amiit saw an opportunity: what if artificial intelligence could rebuild education from the ground up?

That question became the foundation of AssessCurve.ai, India’s first generative AI-powered education platform. Launched in 2024 under CurveAi 360 Degrees Private Limited, the platform is already reshaping classrooms for K-12 learners and competitive exam aspirants, while laying the groundwork for a new culture of personalized, accessible education.

The Personal Spark Behind a Global Idea

The idea was born not in a research lab but in Amiit’s own home. Watching his children prepare for competitive exams like JEE and BITSAT, he witnessed first-hand the inefficiencies of the system. Students drowning in repetitive memorization. Parents anxious over outcomes. Teachers overwhelmed with paperwork. “I realized the issue wasn’t with the people—it was with the system itself,” he explains. “And if systems can be broken, they can also be rebuilt.”

That rebuilding, in his view, required AI not as a buzzword, but as an enabler—a tool that could personalize learning for each student, ease administrative burdens on teachers, and create transparency for parents.

Building with Purpose, Not Just Profit

AssessCurve.ai is not another flashy EdTech startup chasing growth at all costs. Instead, it was designed with integration in mind—working alongside schools, not against them. The platform automates lesson planning and evaluations, generates predictive insights, and adapts to every student’s strengths and weaknesses. By aligning closely with the National Education Policy 2024, it ensures schools are future-ready without costly overhauls.

The results are already tangible: 10,000+ students enrolled, schools in Delhi NCR and Rajasthan onboarded, and international expansion into UK and Dubai by late 2025 in progress.

But for Amiit, the true measure of success isn’t numbers—it’s impact. “Education is empowerment,” he says. “If we can democratize access to high-quality learning, we can transform not just students, but societies.”

Lessons From the Entrepreneurial Journey

Having spent years in global corporations before becoming an entrepreneur a decade ago, Amiit brings both discipline and daring to his work. At 48, he describes entrepreneurship as equal parts exhilarating and exhausting. “Every day brings a new challenge—you’re constantly on the edge,” he admits. But his spiritual grounding helps him navigate uncertainty. “Change is the only constant. Instead of resisting it, I’ve learned to embrace it.”

He also credits his persistence as his unique strength. “I simply don’t quit. If one approach fails, I’ll try another. Unless I’m completely disabled, I’ll always come back with a fresh salvo.”

Inspirations That Shape His Thinking

Amiit admires Elon Musk for his modular approach to solving massive challenges and credits Daniel Kahneman’s book Thinking, Fast and Slow as essential reading for every entrepreneur. His own philosophy echoes a blend of their approaches—audacious in ambition, but methodical in execution.

From his entrepreneurial journey, he highlights one crucial lesson: speed matters. “Move fast, fail fast, learn fast,” he insists. “Failure is not the opposite of success; it’s part of it.”

Recognition and the Road Forward

In recognition of his vision, Amiit was recently named Most Inspirational Leader at the Global Brand and Leadership Conclave, House of Commons, British Parliament, London. For him, though, such honors are milestones, not destinations. The larger vision is clear: to make AssessCurve.ai the global benchmark for AI in education.

His advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is rooted in clarity: “Validate your ideas. Talk to real users. Map the lifecycle before you build. Great ideas attract capital, but only validated ideas survive.”

A Vision Beyond Business

For Amiit, AssessCurve.ai is not just a company—it’s a movement. He envisions a future where education doesn’t stop at memorization but cultivates first-principle thinkers who can innovate, challenge norms, and drive India toward becoming a $10 trillion economy.

“Technology alone doesn’t transform societies,” he reflects. “It’s conviction, persistence, and the courage to reimagine possibilities that create lasting change. With AI, we now have the chance to not just reimagine education, but to rebuild it—better, fairer, and for everyone.”
