For Sarthak Bansal, real estate is not about selling property—it’s about creating places where life can truly unfold. As the Managing Director of Shiv Kamal Realtors (SKR Housing), he has taken a decades-old family legacy and infused it with innovation, sustainability, and a deep sense of responsibility.
The story began in 1985, when his father and uncle founded Bansal Builders, laying the groundwork for what would become a trusted name in construction. Growing up in this environment, Sarthak developed an instinctive understanding of the industry. But when he stepped into leadership in 2019, armed with an MBA in business strategy and infrastructure management, he was determined to do more than preserve tradition—he wanted to redefine it.

Under his leadership, SKR has expanded across Delhi, Gurugram, and Jaipur, delivering over 80 projects that blend luxury with livability, and functionality with foresight. From upscale residences to bustling commercial spaces, each development is designed to contribute to its surroundings—economically, socially, and environmentally.
The journey was not without obstacles. Taking charge at just 26, Sarthak encountered skepticism from industry veterans, challenges with vendors, and the pressure of proving himself despite carrying a respected family name. “Reputation can open doors,” he reflects, “but resilience and consistent delivery keep them open.”
A defining strength of Sarthak’s leadership is his emotional intelligence. He listens—really listens—to his team, customers, and stakeholders. This ability to balance heart and head has not only shaped business decisions but also built lasting relationships in a competitive industry.
Inspiration for him comes from both personal and global figures—his father and uncle for their integrity and commitment, and leaders like Mohamed Alabbar and Ratan Tata, who prove that infrastructure and humanity can thrive together.
Looking ahead, Sarthak envisions a real estate sector defined by transparency, green building standards, and integration with smarter city planning. He advocates for reforms that create a customer-first, environmentally conscious industry, ensuring that developments serve communities for generations to come.
SKR’s efforts have earned recognition from Adani Cement, Gaur City, Unity Group, and Rathi Steel, along with honors such as the Appreciation Award by Kamdhenu TMT Bars, Sales Excellence from Rockstrong Cement, and the Contribution Award from the All India Business Association. Still, for Sarthak, the most meaningful achievement is the trust of repeat clients who continue to invest with SKR—proof that integrity and quality speak louder than any accolade.
